C.E.'s Helping Hands Motorcycle Group was formed in 2006 when Clifton (CE) and Doris Rogers invited a small group of people to their home one evening. The gathering led to the organization of this motorcycle group. C.E. came up with this idea after his companion for over 26 years, Doris, was diagnosed with cancer. He planned a surprise poker run for her and it was a huge success. Together, Cliff and Doris, realized that there were plenty of motorcycle riders in the area that loved to ride and help others in need. This group was founded on Cliff's love for Doris and riding. Cliff and Doris had taken many trips out west and had met lots of people along the way. They always welcomed riders and non-riders to their home. Their love for riding showed on both of their faces when you would see them out and about on a motorcycle. Doris passed way on February 11, 2008, but her love for riding is still alive in the hearts of the many people she encountered. Cliff is still riding and working on motorcycles. His small shop in Old Fields keeps him very busy. He loves being involved with the group and helping those in need.
